What we offer
A premium teaching environment
Tritone is not a traditional music school. We operate as a small, carefully curated studio where both students and mentors experience a focused, high-quality environment. No chaos, no mass production. We like attention to detail and intention.
A contemporary, non-academic approach
We’re built for musicians who don’t resonate with rigid, outdated systems. Our lessons are tailored, flexible, and designed around the individual. This is where teaching adapts to the student, and not the other way around.
High-quality students
Our students range from young beginners to highly advanced players, including dedicated adults. They come to Tritone because they’re motivated, curious, and invested in their growth.
Creative freedom in teaching
You’re not here to follow a script. You’re here because of how you think, play, and teach. We encourage mentors to bring their own methodology, personality, and artistic identity into the room.
A strong, carefully selected team
You’ll be part of a roster of great teachers and active musicians. We value high standards and a healthy sense of ambition. We value a mindset of continuous growth, curiosity, and refinement. We have a shared drive to keep improving, both individually and as a team.
Premium Positioning vs Traditional Schools
We position ourselves above traditional music schools in quality, experience, and mindset. This translates into how students perceive you, and how their lessons are valued.
What We're Looking For
You’re serious about your craft
-
You have a high level on your instrument and can translate that into clear, effective teaching.
-
A conservatory degree (or equivalent professional level) is strongly recommended.
-
A pedagogical background is a plus.
You actually like teaching
Not just filling hours, but guiding someone, seeing them grow, and figuring out how to get them there. You have your own way of thinking about learning, even if you’ve never put it into words.
You can work with different people
You can confidently teach a wide range of students, from kids and beginners to more advanced musicians, and adapt your approach accordingly.
Openness and Musical Curiosity
We don't have a rigid curriculum. Students bring their own tastes, and you’re able to work with that, whether it’s k-pop, jazz, indie, or something else. You meet students where their interests are.
You’re good with people
You communicate clearly, you’re patient, and you create a space where students feel comfortable. You take your role seriously, but you keep things human.
People can count on you
You show up, you’re on time, you're prepared, and you communicate if something comes up. Simple, but important.
You take ownership
When you work with a student, you care about their progress. You think ahead, you structure your lessons, and you take responsibility for what you’re building with them.
You have your life together (more or less)
You can manage your schedule, combine teaching with your music career, and commit to keeping a few consistent teaching days.
You’re proactive
You don’t wait to be told everything. You think, you suggest, you solve things when needed.
