Trumpet Mentor - Jazz / Pop / Funk / Classical
Dima Loginov is an all-round trumpet player and passionate, experienced teacher based in Amsterdam. Alongside performing, he enjoys sharing his passion in music with students of all ages.
Specialising in classical music, jazz, funk, and improvisation, he loves helping students explore their creativity while building a solid foundation in technique, sound, and musical expression. his lessons are adapted to the student goals in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere, both for beginners just starting out and advanced players aiming to refine their style.
Originally from Kazakhstan, he started music at age 5, first with piano before falling in love with the trumpet and jazz. He completed my Bachelor’s degree in Classical and Jazz Trumpet at the National Academy of Arts in Kazakhstan under Professor Zhurgerov, and I he's currently finishing his Master’s at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
Alongside teaching, Dima performs regularly at festivals and concerts across Europe and beyond, ranging from symphony orchestras to jazz ensembles. His musical heroes include Clark Terry, Arturo Sandoval, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, and Roy Hargrove.
