Brass Bands
Playing alone is just the beginning. In this 20-lesson course, you’ll step into brass ensembles and big-band setups, discovering how your horn interacts with others. From harmonies and phrasing to dynamic interplay, every rehearsal strengthens your timing, tone, and confidence in a group setting. Led by Han Litz and intended for intermediate players, this course helps you navigate section work, improvisation, and ensemble dynamics, so you can contribute to a cohesive, vibrant sound. You’ll experience how your part shapes the music while also learning to respond intuitively to the group, building both your technical skills and musical intuition. The course concludes with a live performance, where the energy of your section and the ensemble as a whole fills the room. Strings Duo
You’ve learned your scales and arpeggios, but the real growth happens when your sound meets someone else’s. In this 20-lesson course, you’ll work as a duo with a pianist, exploring music that builds your confidence, communication, and musicianship. Your mentor will guide you through phrasing, rhythm, intonation, and the give-and-take of playing together. You’ll learn to listen closely, adjust in real time, and shape the music as a team through both classical pieces and modern arrangements. At the end of the course, the two of you will perform live, sharing what you’ve built and experiencing the direct, intimate power of duo playing.
Vocal groups
Your solo practice has taken you far, but singing really opens up when voices come together. In this 20-lesson course, you’ll join, a duo, trio, quartet, or a small choir. You’ll learn to blend, harmonise, and stay in control of your voice while singing with others. With guidance from our vocal mentors, you’ll explore how your voice fits into a group, work on phrasing and dynamics, and feel the difference between singing alone and singing as part of an ensemble. The repertoire ranges from pop and jazz to modern vocal pieces, chosen to suit your group. The course ends with a live performance, where you can share your progress and experience the joy of singing together.
Kids and Teenagers
Your child knows their notes and rhythms; now they get to make music with friends! In this 10-lesson course, kids join a small band and learn to listen, play together, and create music as a team. Each session builds confidence, curiosity, and independence, all in a fun and supportive environment. They’ll experiment with sounds, learn to hold their part, and enjoy making music with others. The course ends with a small performance where they can proudly share what they’ve learned.
